The information throughout this page is meant to give you an idea of what we are looking for when selecting anyone to come through Instructor Training at SESSION Pilates. Please give it a good read! While we are not currently accepting applications, all of the below information is accurate and gives a good idea of what to expect with SESSION instructor auditions and training. First we host auditions to select who will go through our training. How many people we take with each training is dependent on the scheduling and staffing needs across our locations. We train people to specifically teach at SESSION Pilates.<\/p>\n

The actual training runs approximately 3 months long and consists of two parts: The Intensive, which is about 6 weeks consisting of learning, writing and studying all of the exercises from the SESSION Training Manual.[\/vc_column_text][dfd_spacer screen_wide_spacer_size=”20″ screen_normal_resolution=”1024″ screen_tablet_resolution=”800″ screen_mobile_resolution=”480″][vc_column_text]2. The Mocks, which are free classes taught by you to SESSION employees, friends and family that are evaluated by our Directors and Mentor team. These are hosted at the studios during times that we don’t have scheduled classes.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”What happens during the audition?” tab_id=”1764010840383-1be2fd4a-7301e7ba-de3c”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

In regards to what we expect to see in an audition, we want to see the best version of you on the microphone. Expect to lead us through a 10 minute workout. We are looking for someone who effectively teaches to the beat of the music, commands the room, and understands how the body moves. Your audition does not have to be pilates or use the reformer if you are more comfortable coaching a different style. Most importantly, let your personality shine and show us you have an understanding of how SESSION teaches to the beat of the music!<\/p>\n

No. We do not require a pilates certification to go through training at SESSION Pilates. Previous teaching or coaching experience in a group fitness or movement setting is a plus but also not required.<\/p>\n

TAKE CLASS!<\/p>\n

We teach a very unique style of pilates. You will learn the most by having already experienced class with a wide variety of our current instructors. The more classes you have under your belt, the more you will be familiar with what we teach and how we teach. Because we train specifically for people to join the SESSION team as an instructor, we currently do not charge for training.<\/p>\n

We are thrilled to share our next round of auditions for our Instructor Training Intensive:<\/span><\/h3>\n

Auditions for our Nashville studio will be held January 10 from 1-7PM at SESSION Pilates in Green Hills. Auditions for our Texas studios (Dallas\/Plano\/Frisco) will be held January 12-14 from 3-8:30PM at SESSION Headquarters in the Dallas Design District.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Should you be selected to be part of our next training group, you must be available to attend the Intensive Training (dates included in the audition application). There will be a mandatory Intensive Anatomy Workshop for both Texas and Nashville groups that will be hosted via Zoom on Wednesday, January 21, 6-9PM.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Applications for our next round of Training are due no later than Sunday, January 4, via the application link at the top of this page. All applicants will receive email communication from SESSION by EOD Wednesday, January 7, in regard to a potential audition.<\/span><\/h3>\n
